ferdinand!

Just wanted to quickly post this great video my mom took when she was visiting the other day - as you may know, Noa's favorite book is "The Story of Ferdinand the Bull." Well we've been working on incorporate signs she knows into our nightly reading of the book (happy, hat, sit, etc.) but we really hit the jackpot when we started finger spelling Ferdinand. Rather a complicated first word for her to spell, but as you can see she loves doing it (even without the book). What is also really cool is that she says the letters too, and pretty clearly too! You can see that she knows when she's spelled the whole word -

Anyway, gotta run, but the big news is that we're off to Boston tomorrow for our trip to Perkins. I look forward to reporting back on that big adventure!
